How To Uninstall libsqlclient1.7 On Debian 8

To uninstall libsqlclient1.7 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libsqlclient1.7

SQL client library for GNUstep (runtime library)Debian 8.0libs1.7.3-2
sudo apt-get remove libsqlclient1.7

This will remove just the libsqlclient1.7 package itself.

Uninstall libsqlclient1.7 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libsqlclient1.7

This will remove the libsqlclient1.7 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libsqlclient1.7 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libsqlclient1.7

Or similarly, like this libsqlclient1.7

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libsqlclient1.7
