How To Uninstall libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg

sudo apt-get remove libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg

This will remove just the libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg

This will remove the libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg

Or similarly, like this libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libtcmalloc-minimal4-dbg
