How To Uninstall libtsan0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libtsan0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libtsan0-dbg

ThreadSanitizer -- a Valgrind-based detector of data races (debug symbols)Debian 8.0debug4.9.2-10
sudo apt-get remove libtsan0-dbg

This will remove just the libtsan0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libtsan0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libtsan0-dbg

This will remove the libtsan0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libtsan0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libtsan0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libtsan0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libtsan0-dbg
