How To Uninstall libvhdio-2.0.90 On Debian 8

To uninstall libvhdio-2.0.90 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libvhdio-2.0.90

Xen API blktap shared library (shared library)Debian 8.0libs2.0.90-3
sudo apt-get remove libvhdio-2.0.90

This will remove just the libvhdio-2.0.90 package itself.

Uninstall libvhdio-2.0.90 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libvhdio-2.0.90

This will remove the libvhdio-2.0.90 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libvhdio-2.0.90 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libvhdio-2.0.90

Or similarly, like this libvhdio-2.0.90

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libvhdio-2.0.90
