How To Uninstall libvte0.16-cil On Debian 8

To uninstall libvte0.16-cil just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libvte0.16-cil

CLI binding for VTE 0.16Debian 8.0cli-mono2.26.0-8
sudo apt-get remove libvte0.16-cil

This will remove just the libvte0.16-cil package itself.

Uninstall libvte0.16-cil and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libvte0.16-cil

This will remove the libvte0.16-cil package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libvte0.16-cil then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libvte0.16-cil

Or similarly, like this libvte0.16-cil

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libvte0.16-cil
