How To Uninstall libwayland-client0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libwayland-client0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libwayland-client0

wayland compositor infrastructure - client libraryDebian 8.0libs1.6.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libwayland-client0

This will remove just the libwayland-client0 package itself.

Uninstall libwayland-client0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libwayland-client0

This will remove the libwayland-client0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libwayland-client0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libwayland-client0

Or similarly, like this libwayland-client0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libwayland-client0
