How To Uninstall libwinpr-winsock0.1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libwinpr-winsock0.1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libwinpr-winsock0.1

Windows Portable Runtime library (winsock library)Debian 8.0libs1.1.0~git20140921.1.440916e+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove libwinpr-winsock0.1

This will remove just the libwinpr-winsock0.1 package itself.

Uninstall libwinpr-winsock0.1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libwinpr-winsock0.1

This will remove the libwinpr-winsock0.1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libwinpr-winsock0.1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libwinpr-winsock0.1

Or similarly, like this libwinpr-winsock0.1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libwinpr-winsock0.1
