How To Uninstall libx32asan1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libx32asan1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libx32asan1

AddressSanitizer -- a fast memory error detector (x32)Debian 8.0libs4.9.2-10
sudo apt-get remove libx32asan1

This will remove just the libx32asan1 package itself.

Uninstall libx32asan1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libx32asan1

This will remove the libx32asan1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libx32asan1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libx32asan1

Or similarly, like this libx32asan1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libx32asan1
