How To Uninstall libxfreerdp-client1.1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libxfreerdp-client1.1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libxfreerdp-client1.1

Free Remote Desktop Protocol library (xfreerdp-client library)Debian 8.0libs1.1.0~git20140921.1.440916e+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove libxfreerdp-client1.1

This will remove just the libxfreerdp-client1.1 package itself.

Uninstall libxfreerdp-client1.1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libxfreerdp-client1.1

This will remove the libxfreerdp-client1.1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libxfreerdp-client1.1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libxfreerdp-client1.1

Or similarly, like this libxfreerdp-client1.1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libxfreerdp-client1.1
