How To Uninstall libxml-commons-external-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libxml-commons-external-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libxml-commons-external-java

sudo apt-get remove libxml-commons-external-java

This will remove just the libxml-commons-external-java package itself.

Uninstall libxml-commons-external-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libxml-commons-external-java

This will remove the libxml-commons-external-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libxml-commons-external-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libxml-commons-external-java

Or similarly, like this libxml-commons-external-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libxml-commons-external-java
