How To Uninstall libzlcore-data On Debian 8

To uninstall libzlcore-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libzlcore-data

ZLibrary cross-platform development library (support files)Debian 8.0libs0.12.10dfsg-9.1
sudo apt-get remove libzlcore-data

This will remove just the libzlcore-data package itself.

Uninstall libzlcore-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libzlcore-data

This will remove the libzlcore-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libzlcore-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libzlcore-data

Or similarly, like this libzlcore-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libzlcore-data
