How To Uninstall locales-all On Debian 8

To uninstall locales-all just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just locales-all

GNU C LibraryDebian 8.0localization2.19-18+deb8u9
sudo apt-get remove locales-all

This will remove just the locales-all package itself.

Uninstall locales-all and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove locales-all

This will remove the locales-all package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for locales-all then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge locales-all

Or similarly, like this locales-all

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove locales-all
