How To Uninstall mac-robber On Debian 8

To uninstall mac-robber just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mac-robber

collects data about allocated files in mounted filesystemsDebian 8.0utils1.02-3
sudo apt-get remove mac-robber

This will remove just the mac-robber package itself.

Uninstall mac-robber and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mac-robber

This will remove the mac-robber package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mac-robber then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mac-robber

Or similarly, like this mac-robber

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mac-robber
