How To Uninstall mace2 On Debian 8

To uninstall mace2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mace2

program that searches for finite models of first-order statementsDebian 8.0math3.3f-1.1
sudo apt-get remove mace2

This will remove just the mace2 package itself.

Uninstall mace2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mace2

This will remove the mace2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mace2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mace2

Or similarly, like this mace2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mace2
