How To Uninstall maint-guide On Debian 8

To uninstall maint-guide just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maint-guide

Debian New Maintainers' GuideDebian 8.0doc1.2.35
sudo apt-get remove maint-guide

This will remove just the maint-guide package itself.

Uninstall maint-guide and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maint-guide

This will remove the maint-guide package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maint-guide then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maint-guide

Or similarly, like this maint-guide

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maint-guide
