How To Uninstall makedic On Debian 8

To uninstall makedic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just makedic

dictionary compiler for KDrillDebian 8.0text6.5deb2-10
sudo apt-get remove makedic

This will remove just the makedic package itself.

Uninstall makedic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove makedic

This will remove the makedic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for makedic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge makedic

Or similarly, like this makedic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove makedic
