How To Uninstall makejail On Debian 8

To uninstall makejail just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just makejail

Automatically create chroot jails for programsDebian 8.0admin0.0.5-10
sudo apt-get remove makejail

This will remove just the makejail package itself.

Uninstall makejail and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove makejail

This will remove the makejail package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for makejail then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge makejail

Or similarly, like this makejail

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove makejail
