How To Uninstall makexvpics On Debian 8

To uninstall makexvpics just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just makexvpics

updates .xvpics thumbnails from the command lineDebian 8.0graphics1.0.1-2
sudo apt-get remove makexvpics

This will remove just the makexvpics package itself.

Uninstall makexvpics and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove makexvpics

This will remove the makexvpics package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for makexvpics then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge makexvpics

Or similarly, like this makexvpics

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove makexvpics
