How To Uninstall maki-plugins On Debian 8

To uninstall maki-plugins just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maki-plugins

D-Bus-based IRC suite (daemon plugins)Debian 8.0net1.4.0+dfsg-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove maki-plugins

This will remove just the maki-plugins package itself.

Uninstall maki-plugins and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maki-plugins

This will remove the maki-plugins package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maki-plugins then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maki-plugins

Or similarly, like this maki-plugins

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maki-plugins
