How To Uninstall malaga-bin On Debian 8

To uninstall malaga-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just malaga-bin

System for automatic language analysisDebian 8.0misc7.12-5.2
sudo apt-get remove malaga-bin

This will remove just the malaga-bin package itself.

Uninstall malaga-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove malaga-bin

This will remove the malaga-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for malaga-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge malaga-bin

Or similarly, like this malaga-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove malaga-bin
