How To Uninstall malaga-mode On Debian 8

To uninstall malaga-mode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just malaga-mode

sudo apt-get remove malaga-mode

This will remove just the malaga-mode package itself.

Uninstall malaga-mode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove malaga-mode

This will remove the malaga-mode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for malaga-mode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge malaga-mode

Or similarly, like this malaga-mode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove malaga-mode
