How To Uninstall mapcache-cgi On Debian 8

To uninstall mapcache-cgi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mapcache-cgi

tile caching server - CGI binaryDebian 8.0web1.2.1-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove mapcache-cgi

This will remove just the mapcache-cgi package itself.

Uninstall mapcache-cgi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mapcache-cgi

This will remove the mapcache-cgi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mapcache-cgi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mapcache-cgi

Or similarly, like this mapcache-cgi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mapcache-cgi
