How To Uninstall marco-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall marco-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just marco-dbg

lightweight GTK+ window manager for MATE (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.8.2+dfsg1-6
sudo apt-get remove marco-dbg

This will remove just the marco-dbg package itself.

Uninstall marco-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove marco-dbg

This will remove the marco-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for marco-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge marco-dbg

Or similarly, like this marco-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove marco-dbg
