How To Uninstall maria On Debian 8

To uninstall maria just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just maria

reachability analyzer for Algebraic System NetsDebian 8.0math1.3.5-4
sudo apt-get remove maria

This will remove just the maria package itself.

Uninstall maria and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove maria

This will remove the maria package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for maria then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge maria

Or similarly, like this maria

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove maria
