How To Uninstall mat On Debian 8

To uninstall mat just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mat

Metadata anonymisation toolkitDebian 8.0python0.5.2-3
sudo apt-get remove mat

This will remove just the mat package itself.

Uninstall mat and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mat

This will remove the mat package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mat then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mat

Or similarly, like this mat

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mat
