How To Uninstall mate-user-share-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall mate-user-share-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mate-user-share-dbg

User level public file sharing via WebDAV or ObexFTP (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.8.0+dfsg1-4
sudo apt-get remove mate-user-share-dbg

This will remove just the mate-user-share-dbg package itself.

Uninstall mate-user-share-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mate-user-share-dbg

This will remove the mate-user-share-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mate-user-share-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mate-user-share-dbg

Or similarly, like this mate-user-share-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mate-user-share-dbg
