How To Uninstall mcollective-client On Debian 8

To uninstall mcollective-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mcollective-client

Marionette Collective clustering framework - clientsDebian 8.0utils2.6.0+dfsg-2.1
sudo apt-get remove mcollective-client

This will remove just the mcollective-client package itself.

Uninstall mcollective-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mcollective-client

This will remove the mcollective-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mcollective-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mcollective-client

Or similarly, like this mcollective-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mcollective-client
