How To Uninstall mcollective-doc On Debian 8

To uninstall mcollective-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mcollective-doc

Marionette Collective clustering framework - documentationDebian 8.0doc2.6.0+dfsg-2.1
sudo apt-get remove mcollective-doc

This will remove just the mcollective-doc package itself.

Uninstall mcollective-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mcollective-doc

This will remove the mcollective-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mcollective-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mcollective-doc

Or similarly, like this mcollective-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mcollective-doc
