How To Uninstall mcollective On Debian 8

To uninstall mcollective just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mcollective

Marionette Collective clustering framework - serverDebian 8.0utils2.6.0+dfsg-2.1
sudo apt-get remove mcollective

This will remove just the mcollective package itself.

Uninstall mcollective and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mcollective

This will remove the mcollective package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mcollective then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mcollective

Or similarly, like this mcollective

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mcollective
