How To Uninstall mcp-plugins On Debian 8

To uninstall mcp-plugins just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mcp-plugins

LADSPA plugins designed for Alsa Modular SynthDebian 8.0sound0.4.0-2
sudo apt-get remove mcp-plugins

This will remove just the mcp-plugins package itself.

Uninstall mcp-plugins and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mcp-plugins

This will remove the mcp-plugins package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mcp-plugins then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mcp-plugins

Or similarly, like this mcp-plugins

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mcp-plugins
