How To Uninstall mcpp On Debian 8

To uninstall mcpp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mcpp

Alternative C/C++ preprocessorDebian 8.0devel2.7.2-4
sudo apt-get remove mcpp

This will remove just the mcpp package itself.

Uninstall mcpp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mcpp

This will remove the mcpp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mcpp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mcpp

Or similarly, like this mcpp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mcpp
