How To Uninstall mdbtools-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall mdbtools-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mdbtools-dbg

Debug symbols for MDB ToolsDebian 8.0debug0.7.1-2
sudo apt-get remove mdbtools-dbg

This will remove just the mdbtools-dbg package itself.

Uninstall mdbtools-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mdbtools-dbg

This will remove the mdbtools-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mdbtools-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mdbtools-dbg

Or similarly, like this mdbtools-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mdbtools-dbg
