How To Uninstall mdbtools-gmdb On Debian 8

To uninstall mdbtools-gmdb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mdbtools-gmdb

JET / MS Access database (MDB) file viewerDebian 8.0gnome0.7.1-2
sudo apt-get remove mdbtools-gmdb

This will remove just the mdbtools-gmdb package itself.

Uninstall mdbtools-gmdb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mdbtools-gmdb

This will remove the mdbtools-gmdb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mdbtools-gmdb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mdbtools-gmdb

Or similarly, like this mdbtools-gmdb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mdbtools-gmdb
