How To Uninstall med-imaging-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall med-imaging-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just med-imaging-dev

Debian Med packages for medical image developmentDebian 8.0misc2.0
sudo apt-get remove med-imaging-dev

This will remove just the med-imaging-dev package itself.

Uninstall med-imaging-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove med-imaging-dev

This will remove the med-imaging-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for med-imaging-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge med-imaging-dev

Or similarly, like this med-imaging-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove med-imaging-dev
