How To Uninstall med-imaging On Debian 8

To uninstall med-imaging just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just med-imaging

Debian Med imaging packagesDebian 8.0misc2.0
sudo apt-get remove med-imaging

This will remove just the med-imaging package itself.

Uninstall med-imaging and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove med-imaging

This will remove the med-imaging package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for med-imaging then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge med-imaging

Or similarly, like this med-imaging

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove med-imaging
