How To Uninstall medusa On Debian 8

To uninstall medusa just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just medusa

fast, parallel, modular, login brute-forcer for network servicesDebian 8.0admin2.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove medusa

This will remove just the medusa package itself.

Uninstall medusa and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove medusa

This will remove the medusa package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for medusa then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge medusa

Or similarly, like this medusa

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove medusa
