How To Uninstall menu-l10n On Debian 8

To uninstall menu-l10n just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just menu-l10n

localized menu entries for Debian menu.Debian 8.0localization0.20120730
sudo apt-get remove menu-l10n

This will remove just the menu-l10n package itself.

Uninstall menu-l10n and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove menu-l10n

This will remove the menu-l10n package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for menu-l10n then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge menu-l10n

Or similarly, like this menu-l10n

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove menu-l10n
