How To Uninstall mercurial-crecord On Debian 8

To uninstall mercurial-crecord just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mercurial-crecord

Mercurial crecord extensionDebian 8.0python0.20140626-1
sudo apt-get remove mercurial-crecord

This will remove just the mercurial-crecord package itself.

Uninstall mercurial-crecord and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mercurial-crecord

This will remove the mercurial-crecord package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mercurial-crecord then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mercurial-crecord

Or similarly, like this mercurial-crecord

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mercurial-crecord
