How To Uninstall mercurial-keyring On Debian 8

To uninstall mercurial-keyring just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mercurial-keyring

Mercurial Keyring ExtensionDebian 8.0python0.6.2-1
sudo apt-get remove mercurial-keyring

This will remove just the mercurial-keyring package itself.

Uninstall mercurial-keyring and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mercurial-keyring

This will remove the mercurial-keyring package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mercurial-keyring then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mercurial-keyring

Or similarly, like this mercurial-keyring

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mercurial-keyring
