How To Uninstall mesa-opencl-icd-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall mesa-opencl-icd-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mesa-opencl-icd-dbg

free implementation of the OpenCL API -- debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug10.3.2-1+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove mesa-opencl-icd-dbg

This will remove just the mesa-opencl-icd-dbg package itself.

Uninstall mesa-opencl-icd-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mesa-opencl-icd-dbg

This will remove the mesa-opencl-icd-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mesa-opencl-icd-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mesa-opencl-icd-dbg

Or similarly, like this mesa-opencl-icd-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mesa-opencl-icd-dbg
