How To Uninstall mhwaveedit On Debian 8

To uninstall mhwaveedit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mhwaveedit

Simple and fast GTK2 sound editorDebian 8.0sound1.4.23-1
sudo apt-get remove mhwaveedit

This will remove just the mhwaveedit package itself.

Uninstall mhwaveedit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mhwaveedit

This will remove the mhwaveedit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mhwaveedit then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mhwaveedit

Or similarly, like this mhwaveedit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mhwaveedit
