How To Uninstall microcom On Debian 8

To uninstall microcom just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just microcom

minimalistic terminal programDebian 8.0comm2014.09.0-1
sudo apt-get remove microcom

This will remove just the microcom package itself.

Uninstall microcom and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove microcom

This will remove the microcom package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for microcom then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge microcom

Or similarly, like this microcom

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove microcom
