How To Uninstall microdc2 On Debian 8

To uninstall microdc2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just microdc2

command-line based Direct Connect clientDebian 8.0net0.15.6-2
sudo apt-get remove microdc2

This will remove just the microdc2 package itself.

Uninstall microdc2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove microdc2

This will remove the microdc2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for microdc2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge microdc2

Or similarly, like this microdc2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove microdc2
