How To Uninstall midisnoop On Debian 8

To uninstall midisnoop just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just midisnoop

MIDI monitor and proberDebian 8.0sound0.1.2~repack0-3
sudo apt-get remove midisnoop

This will remove just the midisnoop package itself.

Uninstall midisnoop and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove midisnoop

This will remove the midisnoop package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for midisnoop then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge midisnoop

Or similarly, like this midisnoop

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove midisnoop
