How To Uninstall migrationtools On Debian 8

To uninstall migrationtools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just migrationtools

Migration scripts for LDAPDebian 8.0net47-8
sudo apt-get remove migrationtools

This will remove just the migrationtools package itself.

Uninstall migrationtools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove migrationtools

This will remove the migrationtools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for migrationtools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge migrationtools

Or similarly, like this migrationtools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove migrationtools
