How To Uninstall mingw32-binutils On Debian 8

To uninstall mingw32-binutils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mingw32-binutils

Minimalist GNU win32 (cross) binutils (transition package)Debian 8.0devel2.25-5+5.2+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove mingw32-binutils

This will remove just the mingw32-binutils package itself.

Uninstall mingw32-binutils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mingw32-binutils

This will remove the mingw32-binutils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mingw32-binutils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mingw32-binutils

Or similarly, like this mingw32-binutils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mingw32-binutils
