How To Uninstall mingw32 On Debian 8

To uninstall mingw32 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mingw32

Minimalist GNU win32 (cross) compiler (transition package)Debian 8.0devel4.9.1-19+14.3
sudo apt-get remove mingw32

This will remove just the mingw32 package itself.

Uninstall mingw32 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mingw32

This will remove the mingw32 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mingw32 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mingw32

Or similarly, like this mingw32

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mingw32
