How To Uninstall mini-dinstall On Debian 8

To uninstall mini-dinstall just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mini-dinstall

daemon for updating Debian packages in a repositoryDebian 8.0devel0.6.30
sudo apt-get remove mini-dinstall

This will remove just the mini-dinstall package itself.

Uninstall mini-dinstall and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mini-dinstall

This will remove the mini-dinstall package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mini-dinstall then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mini-dinstall

Or similarly, like this mini-dinstall

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mini-dinstall
