How To Uninstall mirage On Debian 8

To uninstall mirage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mirage

fast and simple GTK+ image viewerDebian 8.0graphics0.9.5.1-3
sudo apt-get remove mirage

This will remove just the mirage package itself.

Uninstall mirage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mirage

This will remove the mirage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mirage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mirage

Or similarly, like this mirage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mirage
