How To Uninstall mitmproxy On Debian 8

To uninstall mitmproxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mitmproxy

SSL-capable man-in-the-middle HTTP proxyDebian 8.0net0.10.1-2
sudo apt-get remove mitmproxy

This will remove just the mitmproxy package itself.

Uninstall mitmproxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mitmproxy

This will remove the mitmproxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mitmproxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mitmproxy

Or similarly, like this mitmproxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mitmproxy
